Autumn in-house exhibition 2023 at the mineral wholesaler Marco Schreier
September 21, 2023: Impressions from the first day of the fair
Amethyst in all shapes and sizes, from Uruguay and Brazil, as a cave, druse or druse tip was one of the most popular items on the first day.
Very popular: the huge selection of drilled stones, both outside in the tent and inside in the mineral shop.
September 19, 2023: Lunch break!
Yesterday, the Pisces company set up the tents and the "substructure" with pallets and tables was also completed. Today we're working flat out to put away the minerals - lapis lazuli spheres, Rock Crystals, Petrified Wood, Coelestine and much more.
And a huge selection of amethyst - druses, caves, large loading pieces in countless qualities and sizes.
But now it's time for lunch!
September 17, 2023: Unbelievable; only eleven weeks to go...
...then it's already the first Advent! Our customers are already busy preparing for the Advent season - we are sending out gemstone Advent calendars every day!
Make sure you get your supply at the in-house exhibition - so that you don't have to take the calendars with you through all three floors, tents and buildings, we have deposited the supplies of the three calendars at the cash desks.
September 15, 2023: Workshops and lectures are fixed!
11 am Amber - ambassador of light
3 p.m. What can the comb do?
Ancient knowledge rediscovered! Even in ancient China, Gemstone Combs were worn in the hair as jewelry and to increase well-being. Even today, comb-like gemstone scrapers are used as a household remedy in traditional Chinese medicine.
Cost: none - we ask for a donation for Fair Trade Minerals & Gems e.V.
Location: Mineral shop, second floor
10 am - 12 pm and 2 pm - 4 pm Workshops on jewelry making
Cost: 9 €/course
Location: Cafeteria in the seminar house
Registration for the lectures and workshops is not required!
September 14, 2023: Autumn can come!
At the moment we still have to conjure up the autumnal mood with artificial leaves, but sooner than we think we'll be wearing long sweaters again. These new boulder opal chokers can be worn perfectly on tops with a leather strap or elegantly on an omega bracelet.
The same applies to the several hundred long necklaces made from natural Baltic Amber - which can be found in the small seminar room at the in-house exhibition.
September 13, 2023: Crystal Tower
Crystal towers, polished obelisks made from various gemstones, are currently all the rage in the USA. These pink-colored gems made of Rhodochrosite are new to the range.
We are curious to see whether the crystal tower trend will spread across the pond and also reach us - the shape was already known as an "obelisk" in ancient Egypt.
September 12, 2023: Ruby - rough crystals and drilled shapes
We are always fascinated by the diversity of nature - even if it is "only" a single gemstone.
Just being packed: rough Ruby crystals
And already ready for sale: drilled Ruby Tumbled Stone in mega-extra quality
September 11, 2023: What a brilliant piece!
We have just received a consignment of goods from Canada:
Fantastic, dazzling Ammolites come to light! Smaller pieces between 5 and 8 cm, but also these two brilliant pieces from a fossilization.
And then there's this chunks that takes two men to lift:
September 08, 2023: Maultaschen for Honduras
In keeping with the season, we invite you to the autumn in-house exhibition fordelicious Maultaschen - of course there is also a vegetarian option!
In return, we kindly ask you to make a donation to Fair Trade Minerals & Gems e.V. - your donation will support a major training program in the opal cooperative in Honduras.
You will find our donation vases at the food truck and in other places.
September 06, 2023: Cheerfully onwards!
After more than 1000 (in words: THOUSAND) drilled Sugilites have already been sorted, labeled and put on the appropriate pallet before the in-house exhibition, we are now continuing with Sugilite slices and donuts.
In gemstone healing, Sugilite is used, among other things, to make unpleasant things easier to bear - but it's not that bad, because almost every stone fascinates with its color and grain.
September 05, 2023: Offers! Discounts! Bargains!
A lot of new goods are arriving for the in-house exhibition, for which we need space both in the sales exhibition and in the warehouse. That's why we're already busy setting up a huge bargain market - from amethyst druses to silver rings, there's something for everyone!
September 04, 2023: Turning stones into jewelry!
How do you turn a simple Tumbled Stone or crystal into a piece of jewelry?
It's simple: bring your stones to the in-house exhibition and have them drilled at a special in-house exhibition price. Then add one of our beautiful holders for gemstones and you've created a precious, individual piece of jewelry!
September 01, 2023: K2 - Stone of the month September
Did you recognize K2, our stone of the month for September, on the invitation card for the autumn in-house exhibition? This exciting stone from northern Pakistan with the blue Azurite spots in Gneiss is still a fairly new find.
You can find interesting facts about K2 here on our website, and numerous new items from donuts to freeforms can be found at the in-house exhibition,
August 29, 2023: new design jewelry
Just unpacking, sorting and labeling: New designer jewelry with unusual or rare types of stone, e.g. Pacific chalcedony, Turquoise, Zarinite and dark Amazonite.
August 25, 2023: The world's largest pumpkin exhibition
From August 25 to December 3, 2023, Ludwigsburg will once again be the pumpkin capital! In addition to numerous art objects made from pumpkins - this year on the theme of "Fire" - there will once again be an extensive supporting program at the world's largest pumpkin exhibition in Ludwigsburg.

August 24, 2023: 153,440 carats!
We can't stop being amazed: lots of Sugilite has arrived - mainly as drilled cabochons, but also donuts and drilled Tumbled Stones!
A total of 153,440 carats of the coveted gemstone, i.e. around 30 kg in various sizes, shapes and qualities. There is still a huge amount of work to be done before all the stones are unpacked, sorted and labeled - but we will be finished by the autumn in-house exhibition!
August 22, 2023: Lapis!
The raw material for these fantastic Lapis Lazuli beads comes from Badakhshan in the barren north of Afghanistan at affordable prices. The area is only accessible for a few months of the year due to heavy snowfall, so the raw material is still brought down to the valley by donkey, as it has been for 4000 years. From there, it is then sent to the grinding shop in Peshawar, then to the port and by ship to Germany. In addition to the spheres in various sizes, there are also tumbled stones and freeforms made of Lapis Lazuli in the large tent at the in-house exhibition.
August 14, 2023: Warm, warmer, Amber!
Amber and Copal are a focal point of the autumn in-house exhibition. Learn from Monika Grundmann how you can use the fossil tree resin in gemstone wellness, e.g. as a water stick, massage stone or gemstone cushion.
There will also be another lecture on Amber & Wellness; details coming soon!

August 10, 2023: Kunzite and other delicacies
From today, a huge shipment of numerous gemstone rarities will be unpacked, sorted and labeled - Kunzite, Chrysocoll, Ruby and other now hard-to-get gemstones will be revealed bag by bag, box by box.
August 8, 2023: Creative gemstone jewelry courses
After the four different jewelry workshops at the summer in-house exhibition were so popular, there will be creative courses again at the autumn in-house exhibition.
Details will follow as soon as we have finalized the planning!
