The size of the XL tumbled stones is approx. 2.5 - 5.5 cm; the waxed tumbled stones are almost all very elongated.
Kyanite tumbled stones are used in gemstone healing in order to remain capable of acting in confusing, stressful situations. The stone supports logical, rational thinking and decisive action. Other themes are identity and completing one's life's work.
Blue Kyanite is also called kyanite or cyanite. The name Kyanite is derived from the Greek "this sthénos" (twofold strength, twofold power). This describes a very unusual property of Kyanite: depending on the direction in the crystal, it has two very different hardnesses (so-called hardness anisotropy). Spellings such as distin, disthin or distene have not become established in the retail and wholesale trade.
