The intense blue Smooth Stones made of blue aragonite have a size of about 2,5 - 3,0cm and a thickness of about 0,6 - 1,0cm.

You will receive approx. 50 - 60 flat stones per packing unit (=0.5 kg).

Blue aragonite is used in gemstone medicine to support harmonious development; the mineral helps to maintain inner balance and to make life pleasant and enjoyable.

Blue aragonite is also called oceanite in retail as well as wholesale.

The mineral aragonite was first described in 1796 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner and named by after the place where it was found in the province of Aragon in northeastern Spain; thus, the spelling arragonite is not correct.

Blue aragonite is very closely related to blue calcite; the two minerals differ in cleavage, crystal structure and solubility.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name, a specialist wholesaler for minerals, fossils, gemstones, tumbled stones, collector's objects and gift items made of stone. In the year 1998 I founded the brand Maulwurf Geschenke aus der Natur® in order to combine our product range for resellers, museum shops, dealers and other commercial users of the precious stones with our quality guarantee.

You will only receive mineralogically correctly identified stones from us, which promote the joy of collecting and experiencing the precious treasures of nature. Treatments such as coatings or coloring are always declared. Our own production in Asia guarantees the best quality at attractive wholesale prices and fair and transparent product procurement. I personally vouch for this.
