The drilled tumbled stones made of blue Angelite (Anhydrite) are approx. 2.7 - 3.2 cm in size and have a hole of approx. 2.5 mm. Very nice to wear as a pendant on a leather or fabric strap!
Angelite is valued in gemstone healing due to its stabilizing and strengthening effect; the stone can help to better withstand stress and overcome uncertainties and ambiguities.
Other names for Angelite include Anhydrite, angel stone, bardiglionite and luminous stone. In mineralogy, Anhydrite, Gekrösstein, Karstenite and Muriacite are also common synonyms.
Anhydrite is very splintery as a rough stone and is completely Cleavable; the stone is therefore waxed with paraffin for the production of Tumbled Stone.
