Prosperity & well-being pendant, 4.0 cm

This amulet combines the symbolism of money with the stylized depiction of a bat. In the Chinese tradition of onomatopoeic symbols, the bat stands for prosperity and good fortune. The amulet is intended to bring and secure prosperity for the wearer.



Jade - the emperor's stone

In Chinese, "Yu" refers to a series of minerals whose use can be traced back up to 8,000 years. Over time, a veritable cult developed around this stone. Art objects and jewelry made from jade were considered lucky charms and were highly prized, with the finest pieces reserved for the imperial court.
Our six amulets are cut from the rarest and most precious variety of jade: Genuine Jadeite jade from Burma.

The elaborately hand-engraved pendants are approx. 3 to 4.5 cm in size and are strung on an artfully knotted cord. Interwoven beads and other elements complete the harmonious picture. Each jade pendant is supplied in an attractive presentation box.
