... the lively gemstone hearts are literally a "matter of the heart"!
The Mookaite hearts are designed for the interchangeable system for front-drilled stones, e.g. model "Circle" order no. 242005110021.
Size of the swing hearts: approx. 50 x 40 mm
The drilled, curved heart pendants made from Mookaite are shown off to their best advantage with a fabric ribbon in a matching color.
The name "Mookaite" is derived from the largest deposit of the mineral in the Kennedy Range, around 1000 km north of the Western Australian capital Perth. Mookaite is mined there along the Mooka Creek. In the Aboriginal language, "Mooka" means "flowing water" and refers to the numerous springs in the area. Spellings such as Mokaite, Mokaid, Mokaait or Moukait are therefore incorrect. The only synonym for Mookaite is currently Australian jasper.
