Freeform sunstone (Arusha) drilled, 3.0 - 4.0 cm

A great new find from Tanzania: various Feldspar with Hematite inclusions!
This new material is on the market under the trade name Arusha sunstone.
We were able to get hold of a small barrel of rough stones and had these beautiful drilled freeforms cut from them.

Size of the choker parts made of Arusha sunstone approx. 3 - 4cm, diameter of the hole approx. 3mm.

Sunstone belongs to the Feldspar group of minerals. Another trade name for this special variety is confetti sunstone.
