A great new find from Tanzania: various Feldspars with Hematite inclusions!
Under the trade name Arusha Sunstone this new material is on the market.
We were able to get hold of a small barrel of rough stones and have cut these beautiful drilled freeforms from it.
Size of the choker parts made of Arusha sunstone about 3 - 4cm, diameter of the hole about 3mm.
Sunstone belongs to the minerals of the Feldspar group. Another trade name of this special variety is confetti sunstone.
