The beige-brown gemstone donuts with a light gold tone fascinate with their individual grain.
Mineralogically, it is a banded limestone; the name "jasper" is therefore misleading, but has nevertheless established itself in the trade. Walnut Jasper is also sold under the name Walnut Jasper or Egyptian Marble. Other designations include landscape marble, ruin marble, and paesina marble.
The donuts are 3cm in size, diameter of the hole 8mm and therefore suitable for donut spirals.
At present, not much is known about the energetic effects; English-language sources assign the themes of strength, energy and endurance to walnut jasper. However, this is probably derived from the misinterpretation of the gemstone as jasper; as a limestone, the walnut "jasper" stands for growth and development.
