The puffy heart made of dalmatian jasper (aplite) measures approx. 6.0 x 6.5 cm.
The Dalmatian Stone is used in situations where strength and reflection are required in order to think through projects well and then implement them powerfully.
The Dalmatian Stone takes its name from the dog breed of the same name with the dark dots on a light background. In mineralogy, the Dalmatian Stone is known as aplite. According to studies by the Institute for Gemstone Testing, Dalmatian Stone is a white to light gray, fine-grained, sometimes zoned gangue rock, which consists mainly of potassium feldspar and quartz. The black spots in the rock are amphibole.
The mineralogical name for Dalmatian jasper is Hornblende or Aplite; the name Porphyry or Porphyrite for Dalmatian Stone, which is occasionally found in retail and wholesale trade, is not mineralogically correct.

Minerals and gemstones for collecting and gifts

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name, a specialist wholesaler for minerals, fossils, gemstones, tumbled stones, collector's objects and gift items made of stone. In the year 1998 I founded the brand Maulwurf Geschenke aus der Natur® in order to combine our product range for resellers, museum shops, dealers and other commercial users of the precious stones with our quality guarantee.
You will only receive mineralogically correctly identified stones from us, which promote the joy of collecting and experiencing the precious treasures of nature. Treatments such as coatings or coloring are always declared. Our own production in Asia guarantees the best quality at attractive wholesale prices and fair and transparent product procurement. I personally vouch for this.
