Labradorite is only a gray mineral at first glance - a second look reveals the sparkling, colorful beauty of the stone! In gemstone healing, the effect of labradorite is valued when it comes to strengthening intuition, depth of feeling and mediumistic gifts.

The dark Labradorite belongs to the Feldspar group; Localities of the raw material: Madagascar.

The first labradorites arrived in Europe in the 18th century, after they were found on the Canadian peninsula of Labrador in 1770 and later named after these localities. Occasional spellings such as labardorite, labradoride, labradoriet, labradorite, labratorite or lapradorite are therefore incorrect.

In many religions and traditions, from ancient Egypt to India, China and Greece, the egg is a symbol of life, becoming and creation. In Buddhism, the cracking of the eggshell symbolizes the breaking through of ignorance.
