The slightly thicker massage styli are ideal for numerous applications, e.g. gemstone balance or reflexology work, as they store heat particularly well. The Point side is ideal for working on reflex zones or individual points, while the thicker side is well suited for stroking out at the end of the treatment.

In gemstone healing, Prase is valued for its balancing effect and is used to calm heated tempers and facilitate conflict resolution. The name Prase is derived from the Greek word "prasos" for leek. Spellings such as phrasem, prassem or prassen are therefore incorrect. Prase Quartz (Buddstone) is also called budstone, emerald quartz, leek quartz or African jade.
