The calibrated onyx marble has a diameter of 30mm.
Onyx marble is the trade name of a decorative mixture of calcite and aragonite in light shades of olive and beige with banding in brown and cream.
Stone medicine values the mineral calcitaragonite for its relieving effect; with the support of this type of stone, flexibility can be increased and rest and activity can be balanced.
According to the international nomenclature the Onyx Marble is mineralogically correctly called Calcite-Aragonite or Aragonite-Calcite, Onyx Marble, however, is the common trade name. Other names in common use in retail as well as wholesale are Kalkonyx, Calcite-Alabaster, Ribbon Marble, Aragonite Marble, Chalcedon-Onyx or Marmoronyx. The spelling onix marble, however, is not correct. The olive-green portion is also called green Onyx.
