The amethyst bracelet is cut from high-quality rough material. The beads are threaded onto an elastic band for easy donning and doffing.

The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol.
