These beautiful chrysoberyl necklaces were threaded in Germany and have a high quality Clasp made of rhodium-plated silver 925. The necklace is approx. 43cm long; the extension chain makes the length variable between 43 and 47cm.
The buttons have a size of approx. 1,5-3,5 x 3,3-6,3mm.

The name Chrysoberyl is derived from the Greek words "chrysos" (gold) and "beryllos" (beryl). Spellings like chrysoberill, crysoberryl or even gold beryll are therefore not correct. The spelling krisoberil used in 1789 in the first scientific description of chrysoberryl by Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817) has not been accepted.
