The beautiful mookaite necklace with the mineral's tropical color spectrum consists of faceted buttons with a diameter of 4mm. The necklace can be worn between 45 and 49 cm long thanks to the extension chain.
The lobster clasp, eyelet and extension chain are made from rhodiniert 925 silver.
Mookaite (also known as chert) is used in gemstone healing when variety, fun and intense experiences are desired. The mineral makes you flexible and encourages you to explore different possible solutions in order to find the optimal solution.
The name "Mookaite" is derived from the largest deposit of the mineral in the Kennedy Range, around 1000km north of the Western Australian capital Perth. Mookaite is mined there along the Mooka Creek. In the Aboriginal language, "Mooka" means "flowing water" and refers to the numerous springs in the area. Spellings such as Mokaite, Mokaid, Mokaait or Moukait are therefore incorrect. The only synonym for Mookaite is currently Australian jasper.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.
