Strontianite Pendant Tumbled Stone

The tumbled stone pendants are an absolute top-quality product, as only the most beautiful tumbled stones are individually selected by hand from the huge quantities of tumbled stones. In addition, we only use eyelets made of 925 silver and each pendant is also packed in a jewelry box labeled with the stone name.

Strontianite was first discovered in 1790 near the Scottish village of Strontian in the western Highlands by Adair Crawford. Strontian was the first mineral ever found in Scotland; the new find was described by the German physician and naturalist Friedrich Gabriel Sulzer (1749 - 1830) and named after the place where it was found (so-called type locality). Spellings such as stontiatite or stronthianite are therefore incorrect.
