The necklace made of intensely purple phosphosiderite consists of polished spheres with a diameter of approx. 3mm. The necklace can be worn between 44 and 47 cm long thanks to the extension chain.
The lobster clasp, eyelet and extension chain of the necklace are made from rhodiniert 925 silver.
The name phosphosiderite is derived from "phospho" for phosphorus and "sideros (Greek for iron); the name given in 1890 by Franz Siegfried Willy Bruhns and Karl Heinrich Emil Georg Busz is also recognized by the International Mineralogical Association (IMA). The spelling phosphorus siderite is not correct.
Phosphosiderite is a rare, little-known mineral. Only recently have compact stones from Chile, Mexico and the USA been processed into jewelry.
In gemstone healing, phosphosiderite is used as an invigorating and strengthening stone. In astrology, phosphosiderite is used to activate the dynamism of Aries and the regenerative power of Scorpio.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.
