An absolute rarity!
Grandidierite is a very rare magnesium-iron-aluminum borosilicate from Madagascar and is one of the ten rarest gemstones in the world. The higher the iron content in grandidierite, the more intense the blue.
These beautiful grandidierite necklaces were threaded in Germany and fitted with a high-quality 925 gold-plated silver clasp. The necklace is approx. 43 cm long; the length can be varied between 43 and 47 cm using the extension chain.
The faceted beads are approx. 2.5mm in size.
