An absolute rarity!
Grandidierite is a very rare magnesium iron aluminum borosilicate from Madagascar and is one of the ten rarest gemstones in the world. The higher the iron content in Grandidierite, the more intense the blue.
These beautiful Grandidierite necklaces were threaded in Germany and have a high quality Clasp made of rhodium-plated silver 925. The necklace is about 43cm long; the extension chain makes the length variable between 43 and 47cm.
The faceted beads have a size of about 2mm.
