These specially sorted rough pieces are dark purple with white banding. They are ideal for decoration and as a stone for cuddly baskets with inexpensive amethyst chunks.
The size of the amethyst chips varies between approx. 2.5 and 4.5 cm.
Supplied in PUs with 1kg chunks of raw amethyst; these are approx. 160 - 190 raw stones.
Origin of the rough: Zambia
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.

Minerals and gemstones for collecting and gifts: Decoration Stones Amethyst banded (Zambia), 02,5 - 04,5cm (small)

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name, a specialist wholesaler for minerals, fossils, gemstones, tumbled stones, collector's objects and gift items made of stone. In the year 1998 I founded the brand Maulwurf Geschenke aus der Natur® in order to combine our product range for resellers, museum shops, dealers and other commercial users of the precious stones with our quality guarantee.
You will only receive mineralogically correctly identified stones from us, which promote the joy of collecting and experiencing the precious treasures of nature. Treatments such as coatings or coloring are always declared. Our own production in Asia guarantees the best quality at attractive wholesale prices and fair and transparent product procurement. I personally vouch for this.
