Herkimer quartz crystals take their name from the type locality "Herkimer, New York" and are also known as Herkimer diamonds because of their great brilliance. These are highly lustrous, naturally grown Rock Crystal (Double Point) crystals. Herkimer quartz crystals currently come from Pakistan.
