The butterflies for these wind chimes are made of white, slightly translucent Alabaster calcite. Each butterfly is approx. 4 x 5 cm in size and shows the typical subtle structure of the mineral.

Alabaster calcite is also known commercially as white onyx or white aragonite (white).
