This bottle stopper is topped with a piece of petrified wood!
The petrified wood from which these small pieces of branch have been cut comes from conifers of the Araucaria genus and is around 230 million years old (Triassic period).
Localities: Valley of Ankavandra, between Antananarivo in the center of Madagascar and Maintirano on the west coast of the island.
Size of the Petrified Wood approx. 4cm, total length of the wine stopper approx. 10cm.
Petrified Wood is also called tree quartz.
