For this beautiful bathroom accessory, a black shell has been painstakingly decorated by hand with countless pieces of Paua Shell, grouted, polished and glued to a wooden base. Water can drain through the holes in the base of the bowl.
Size of the bowl 17 x 10cm, height 3cm; stone weight approx. 550ct.
The shell pieces come from Haliotis asinina, a popular delicacy in South East Asia.
This sea snail is popularly known as the dog-eared abalone.
