Strand slice/coin, garnet, faceted, 04mm

The faceted garnet buttons are about 2.5mm thick and have a diameter of 4mm.

The total length of the garnet strand is approx. 40cm; ideally suited e.g. for a bracelet and a pair of matching, elaborate earrings.

The dark red garnet (Almandine) is used in gemstone medicine to strengthen willpower and to assert one's own ideas against resistance. Already Hildegard von Bingen dealt with the effect of garnet under the then common name carbuncle (Carbunkel).
