With this strand it becomes clear why Nephrite is also called New Zealand Jade:
Intense olive green and good polish!
Nephrite jade as a chain strand for threading necklaces and bracelets is rather unusual - and yet the stone healing aspects of the mineral are so interesting: Nephrite gives inner balance and thus shields against negative influences from the outside. Brooding and fruitless thinking can be overcome more easily through the Nephrite.
The elongated tumbled stone chips are about 11 - 20mm long and 2 - 7mm thick; the nephrite strand has a length of about 40cm.
Nephrite is also found commercially as Maori jade, nephrite jade, nefrit or New Zealand jade. Mineralogically, Nephrite is an actionolite with many small crystals intertwined. The olive green color is due to iron and chromium.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name, a specialist wholesaler for minerals, fossils, gemstones, tumbled stones, collector's objects and gift items made of stone. In the year 1998 I founded the brand Maulwurf Geschenke aus der Natur® in order to combine our product range for resellers, museum shops, dealers and other commercial users of the precious stones with our quality guarantee.
You will only receive mineralogically correctly identified stones from us, which promote the joy of collecting and experiencing the precious treasures of nature. Treatments such as coatings or coloring are always declared. Our own production in Asia guarantees the best quality at attractive wholesale prices and fair and transparent product procurement. I personally vouch for this.
