The small emerald cubes have a size of about 2 x 2 x 2mm and sparkle in different shades of green. In total, the faceted emerald strand is about 39cm long.
The name "emerald" is derived from the Greek word smáragdos (green stone); the spelling Smaragt, Smaragdt or Smarakt, which can be found from time to time, is therefore not correct.
