The bright light green Variscite beads have a polished surface and a diameter of 6mm; the entire Variscite strand is approx. 40cm long.
Origin of the raw material: Mongolia
Variscite is the "pick-me-up stone". The mineral makes you alert, attentive and promotes rational thinking. It allows you to express your own concerns clearly.
The name Variscite is derived from the first known localities of the mineral in Vogtland (Latin: Varisca); the spellings Varizit or Variskit are therefore incorrect.
Occasionally found synonyms are utalite, Californian Turquoise or Uthaturquoise.
