Electroformed intermediate parts made of real silver
These electroformed parts are manufactured in a complex process:
Each piece is modeled on a natural form or a polished stone. First, an impression of the object is taken, a mold is created and a negative is cast.
This negative is then reproduced as a wax mold and coated with a thick layer of pure silver.
The subsequent melting out of the wax creates the hollow silver molds, which are then polished and/or satin-finished and then silver- and gold-plated.
This process allows the detailed reproduction of the stone molds and the production of very large, but also very light hollow molds.
