The adjusting bead has a silicone ring inside that fixes ribbons with a diameter of up to 2.6 mm to the bead, e.g. as a clasp for a bracelet, over a drilled stone, as a fastener or free-floating for decoration. Two or more thin threads can also be brought together with the sliding bead.

The hole in the silver bead is 2.6 mm in size and is narrowed to 1 mm by the stretchy silicone ring inside the stopper bead.
