The gemstone malas consist of 24 Larimar beads, 52 Rock Crystal beads (6mm diameter), 32 Rudraksha nuts and are carefully knotted by hand with a thread matching the color of the Larimar.
A pendant with the Om symbol and a chili pod (all made of 925 silver) is attached to the back of the malas.
The Rock Crystal and Larimar prayer beads are 86 cm long; the tassel is a further 8 cm long.
Rock Crystal is used in modern stone healing to promote clarity and neutrality; the mineral improves perception and brings clarity of thought, making it ideal for mala necklaces. Larimar complements the effect of Rock Crystal, as the mineral helps to enlarge the mental space and to process impressions received - thus achieving a positive, open attitude towards new things under the motto "I am open to new things".
Rudraksha nuts are seeds that are traditionally dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva and are carried as a source of protection and inspiration. Rudrakshas are widely used as natural-looking jewelry in India and Nepal and are valued in a similar way to gemstones.
