The gemstone malas consist of 100 red jasper beads and eight rudraksha nuts and are carefully knotted by hand with a thread that matches the color of the jasper.
The root chakra is also known as Muladhara (from the Sanskrit "Mulad" for root, foundation, beginning and "Hara" for support, base, container) and stands for courage, security and stability.
Red Jasper (red) is a powerful helper and strengthens willpower, makes you courageous and dynamic, so that you can set about implementing your plans full of energy. Unpleasant tasks and doubts can be tackled and overcome with the help of this stone.
Rudraksha nuts are seeds that are traditionally dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva and are carried as a source of protection and inspiration. Rudrakshas are widely used as natural-looking jewelry in India and Nepal and are valued in a similar way to gemstones.
A pendant with a chakra symbol and a chili pod (all made of 925 silver) is attached to the back of the chakra malas. The red Jasper (red) prayer beads are 86 cm long; the tassel is a further 8 cm long.
