Colorful necklace with four different gemstones!
Size of the buttons made of blue Lapis Lazuli and Spiny Oyster approx. 6mm, diameter of the Heishi discs made of Turquoise (stab.) 5mm, made of light green Lizardite 4mm
Length of the necklace 42cm plus 5cm extension chain; threaded on stainless steel wire.
Lobster clasp and extension chain are made of rhodiniert silver 925.
Spiny oyster, the bright orange-red shell of the spiny oyster, was already used as a gemstone in the Neolithic period. The Incas and other advanced cultures in South America also used spiny oysters for jewelry and ritual purposes; this is why the spiny oyster is also known as the rainmaker's shell and was long regarded as a symbol of fertility and vitality. This is also the origin of the Spanish name oro rojo (red Gold). Spiny oyster is eaten as a delicacy in many regions; its use in jewelry is therefore unproblematic.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.
