Delicate gemstone necklace in light olive green with sElements and Ammolite!
The faceted buttons of the necklace made of light green faceted Peridote are threaded onto steel wire; the center of the Peridote necklace is formed by a colourful iridescent Ammolite (different shapes and colors; however, you will always receive an Ammolite in the same quality as shown).
Length of the design necklace approx. 45 cm plus 6 cm extension chain made of rhodiniert silver 925; silver weight approx. 1.7 g.
Size of the freeform Ammolite approx. 13 x 11mm, stone weight Ammolite 4.25ct. Size of the Olivine 2.5 x 5mm, stone weight 58.55ct.
Localities Ammolite: St. Mary River near Lethbridge in southwestern Alberta (Canada).
Occurrence: Cretaceous period
Ammolite is the trade name for the gem quality of a colorful, iridescent fossil shell of two ammonites: Placenticeras meeki and Placenticeras intercalare. The gemstone consists of the finest aragonite platelets, which produce the bright colors through interference of light.
To protect the sensitive surface of the Ammolite, it has been sealed with acrylic.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered.
