This beautifully carved gemstone is called batik jasper at its location in Tasikmalaya in the west of Java (Indonesia), as its veining is reminiscent of traditional Javanese batik clothing.
Size of the pendant with batik jasper 4.6 x 1.7 cm. Inner diameter of the eyelet 5mm.
Bezel setting and eyelet are made of highly polished, gold-plated silver 925 (18ct / 1micron hard gold-plated); silver weight 3g.
The drop-shaped cabochon has a size of 35 x 16mm, stone weight 3ct.
Each gemstone pendant is individually drawn - the photo therefore only shows a possible grain. This is also reminiscent of the fur of leopards, of which there are only a few left in Java today.
