The pendant is made of rhodium-plated silver 925 and set with a 3mm garnet cabochon.
The diameter of the jewelry part is 2.3cm, the total size of the symbol pendant is 2.8cm (incl. eyelet).
The eyelet (also silver 925) of the garnet pendant has an inner diameter of 5mm and is therefore also suitable for thicker silver hoops and fabric ribbons matching the color of the garnet.
Already Hildegard von Bingen dealt with the effect of garnet under the then common name carbuncle (Carbunkel).
