This beautiful green chalcedony is called turtle chalcedony at its localities on the Indonesian island of Halmahera, as the pattern is reminiscent of a turtle's shell. The path to the localities in the forest near the village of Casiruta is very difficult and only possible on foot.
The intense color, the vivid pattern and the partial translucency make the green chalcedony a very special gemstone.
The chalcedony pendant measures approx. 5.8 x 2.5 cm; the bezel and eyelet (inner diameter 6 mm) are made of highly polished, rhodiniert 925 silver and weigh approx. 4 g.
Size of the oval cabochon in bezel setting approx. 35 x 24mm, stone weight chalcedony approx. 32ct, Paua Shell 5ct. The cabochon made of colorful iridescent paua shell is approx. 12mm in size.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
