Phosphosiderite is a rare, little-known mineral found in Chile, Mexico and the USA. The raw material for the pendant comes from the CopiapĆ³ province (Atacama region) in Chile.
Phosphosiderite is used in gemstone healing as an invigorating and strengthening stone.
The name phosphosiderite is derived from "phospho" for phosphorus and "sideros (Greek for iron); the name given in 1890 by Franz Siegfried Willy Bruhns and Karl Heinrich Emil Georg Busz is also recognized by the International Mineralogical Association (IMA). The spelling phosphorus siderite is not correct.
Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.
Chili Jewels® is our professional brand for the specialist trade with low wholesale prices and outstanding offers from our own production of silver jewelry, stone jewelry, necklaces and bracelets with real stones.
