Beautiful heart pendant made of serafinite - A lovely gift for loved ones.
Size of the pendant 2.9 x 2.0 cm, inner diameter of the eyelet 6 mm.
The bezel setting and the eyelet are made of highly polished platinum-coated silver 925; silver weight: 2.2g.
Size of the heart cabochon approx. 20mm, stone weight of serafinite approx. 21.20 ct.
Each serafinite is unique in its grain; the picture shows only one possibility. However, you will always receive a gemstone pendant in the same quality as shown.
Serafinite got its name from the feather-like drawings and structures that are reminiscent of angel wings. The Hebrew term "seraphim" ("the burning ones") is used in Christian mysticism and refers to an angel high up in the hierarchy.
The name clinochlor is composed of the Greek words "clino" and "chloros" and refers to the inclined optical axis of the mineral and its typical green color. In German, the two variants clinochlor and clinochlor can be found, in English the mineral is called clinochlore, occasionally it is also referred to as clinochlorite. The name is composed of the Greek words klinein = to incline (referring to the inclined inclination of the optical axis in serafinite) and chloros = green. Massive aggregates, from which Tumbled Stone, for example, can be produced, are usually found in the wholesale trade under the name Serafinite or Seraphinite. Another synonym is ripidolite.
