Intense red-orange color, but still not an endangered coral species!
These classic earrings made of rhodiniert silver 925 are 2,8 x 1,3cm including Ear Hook. The oval cabochons measure 28 x 13mm, weigh approx. 21ct and are set in prong settings. The bezel settings and Ear Hook are made from rhodiniert silver 925.
The red fossilized horn coral comes from Riley's Canyon near Kamas in Utah. Occurring around 300 million years ago, the coral is not an endangered species living today!
The former coral reefs now lie high in the mountains of Utah. Since the coral is no longer mined, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find cabochons or coral jewelry with beautiful designs.
