Lapis ball diameter about 6cm, weight about 695g.
Very beautiful for room decoration!
Origin of the raw material for the ball of lapis lazuli is Badakhshan, the ball was cut in Peshawar.
Badakhshan is located in northern Afghanistan. The remote area is very barren, always cold and therefore accessible only a few months a year - otherwise the area is mostly covered by snow. Lapis Lazuli has been mined in Badakhshan province for 4000 years.
The beautiful blue lapis lazuli has always been and still is a sought-after gemstone. Already several thousand years ago it was used in jewelry in Mesopotamia and the blue eyebrows of the mask of Pharaoh Tut-ench-amun were painted with it.

In the year 1998 I founded the brand Maulwurf Geschenke aus der Natur® in order to combine our product range for resellers, museum shops, dealers and other commercial users of the precious stones with our quality guarantee.
You will only receive mineralogically correctly identified stones from us, which promote the joy of collecting and experiencing the precious treasures of nature. Treatments such as coatings or coloring are always declared. Our own production in Asia guarantees the best quality at attractive wholesale prices and fair and transparent product procurement. I personally vouch for this.
