Very beautiful for room decoration!

The raw material for the lapis lazuli sphere comes from Badakhshan, the sphere was cut in Peshawar.

Badakhshan is located in northern Afghanistan. The remote area is very barren, always cold and therefore only accessible for a few months of the year - otherwise the area is usually covered in snow. Lapis Lazuli has been mined in the province of Badakhshan for 4000 years.

The beautiful blue lapis lazuli has always been and still is a sought-after gemstone. It was used in jewelry in Mesopotamia several thousand years ago and the blue eyebrows of the mask of Pharaoh Tut-ench-amun were painted with it.
