"Parrots prefer to be in pairs" is what the artist who created these two fantastic gemstone birds from Rose Quartz had in mind when creating this gemstone engraving.
The bodies of the parrots have been engraved from Rose Quartz, the faces from Amazonite and fluorite respectively. Both Rose Quartz birds also have tail feathers made of banded fluorite.
Including the amethyst base, the gemstone engraving is approx. 46 cm high and weighs 10.39 kg; the amethyst base measures approx. 30 x 16 cm.
Parrots are often associated with communication, diversity and intelligence. In some cultures they also symbolize exoticism and freedom.
