This beautiful polished amethyst druse is approx. 21 cm high and 19 cm wide; it weighs approx. 7 kg.
Amethyst druses are often used as energetic room decorations and are also popular for energetic discharging and cleaning of gemstones. To cleanse amethyst, the stones in question simply need to be placed in an amethyst druse. The energy radiating from the crystal tips penetrates the stones with the mineral's "cleansing information" so that all foreign information is released. If the stones were previously discharged under running water, two to three hours are sufficient. If this is not possible (e.g. with stone chains), eight to twelve hours is the minimum required. It can also be longer, there is no such thing as "too much"!
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
