One Hand Rods, also known as biotensors or divining rods, are a proven tool for detecting energy fields and disturbances. With their help, it is possible to localize hunches, vibrations and impressions.
In gemstone healing, One Hand Rods are often used to find the right stone for a particular situation or person. The Lapis Vitalis® One Hand Rods are ideal for finding the right stone at the beginning of a treatment, during a consultation or for a valued person.
Amethyst is particularly suitable for dowsing and other consultations with the One Hand Rod, as the stone stands for the themes of attention, concentration and calm.
The handle (approx. 1.8 x 8 cm) and swinging ball (approx. 1.2 cm) of the gemstone tensor are made of amethyst; the wire is made of nickel-free metal (approx. 20 cm); total length approx. 29 cm.

The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
