The author
Melanie Struck grew up in a small town in the district of Goslar and joined the police force in 1988, where she worked in both patrol and investigative duties. A few years ago, she discovered a special sensitivity with regard to stones and continues to train in this area. Due to traumatic events she was confronted with both on and off duty, she fell ill and retired. She is married and has two children.
