The triangular slices of this carnelian strand (gebr.) are about 3mm thick and have a side length of 10mm each. The hole of the carnelian triangles is in the middle of the triangles, the total length of the triangles strung to the strand is 40cm. The color palette ranges from light gray to various shades of red-orange and dark red-brown.
Carnelian, also spelled carnelian, is used in stone healing when the themes of courage, drive and overcoming should be strengthened.
In the trade, carnelian is occasionally called serdolik, and the names coralin/coralin, blood agate or flesh agate are frequently encountered. In the English-speaking world carnelian is sometimes mistakenly called Peach Aventurine.
