The silk cords made of high quality Habotai silk are about 1m long and about 3mm thick. Per packaging unit (=VE) you get six garnet red Silk Cord. The dark red color of the Silk Cord is matched to the colors of our beaded silk.
Habotai silk is one of the highest quality silks due to its particularly smooth surface and its very pure white color before dyeing. Originally from Japan, the silk was first used for kimonos. The silk threads can absorb up to 50% of their own weight in moisture without feeling wet - ideal for wearing pierced gems in summer!
