The snake is one of our oldest and most powerful symbols. Snake symbols have existed as zigzag lines on rock faces since the beginning of mankind. It therefore also has a protective and guardian function between the worlds. The snake stands for wisdom, because as a reptile that "disappears" in winter, it knows the underworld. It is considered cunning, very patient and very fast when it bites.
